Saturday morning, I joined SDEC Committeeman for Congressional District 2 Justin Boyd, Sean Simon — candidate for Justice of the Peace, Precinct 4 — and Fallbrook Precinct Chair Lloyd Gauthier to canvass neighborhoods in Northwest Houston.
Block walking remains one of the most important ways we can connect with voters. Elections are won by engaging people directly: knocking on doors, listening to their concerns, sharing accurate information, and making sure every voter understands the power of their voice and their vote.
Strong turnout begins long before Election Day. It is built one conversation, one doorstep, and one relationship at a time. When we meet voters where they are and stay engaged in our communities, we build the organization and trust needed to win elections and strengthen our democracy.
